How to handle panic attacks

What are panic attacks

A panic attack is a sudden rush of physical symptoms — lnausea, rapid, irregular heartbeats, dry mouth,breathlessness, sweating and dizziness.Usually panic attacks last from couple of minutes to 30 min.coupled with uncontrollable anxiety.

You should ask yourself ,why i am having panic attacks ? There are lots of reason why person may have panic attacks.

When you are having a panic attack you may try reverse psychology, tell your brain and body that you can handle with anything,because you are strong.

Breathe normally

When we panic, we breathe quickly and high in the chest. This is because your body wrongly assumes it needs to exercise and so breathes as if you were running hard. When we breathe in this way when we are not exercising, we may call this hyperventilation

Exercise

You should exercise daily ,exercising will help you to release stress,you should eat regulary to maintain blood sugar levels.Avoid caffe, alcohol and quit smoking.

 

Think positive

So when you feel panic starting to rise, talk back to your thoughts in a new way. Think of something beautiful and peaceful.

 

Yoga

Yoga can reduce muscle tension and help you regain composure. Lie flat on your back and bring one knee up to your chest. Hold it there for 20 seconds with your hands, while also breathing deeply through your nose. Repeat with the other knee.Yoga is one of the best panic attacks treatment.

 

Panic disorder

If you feel constantly stressed and anxious, particularly about when your next panic attack may be, you may have panic disorder.

People with panic disorder may avoid situations that might cause a panic attack. They may also fear and avoid public spaces (agoraphobia).
