Toothache is always uncomfortable, especially if you are not able to see the dentist.
A pain that occurs during the night is the most common case, and for a very simple reason – the pain occurs as a result of the pressure on the nerve endings, and at night, when the body is at rest, more blood comes to the painful areas, thus increasing the pressure on the nerves.
Although going to the dentist is inevitable, there are a number of natural remedies that can relieve toothache if it occurs during the night, weekends, holidays, or when you are not able to see a dentist.
Although the following means cannot solve the problem, they are very effective in relieving pain:
Put one or two drops of propolis diluted in alcohol on the aching tooth.
Mix half a teaspoon of nutmeg powder with a spoon of mustard, sesame or coconut oil. Make a small ball out of wad and use it to apply the mixture on the affected tooth and leave it there for a while. Then rinse your mouth with warm water.
Repeat this procedure usually every two days since the nutmeg contains myristicin, a substance which in large quantities has sedative and hallucinogenic activity, but in small doses helps with toothaches, and eliminates the feeling of nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
